Welcome to the Computers, Language, Individuals, & Modern Behavior Research Group! My name is Kate Blackburn, and I formally created the CLIMB research group at The University of Texas at Austin as a way for my undergraduate students to assist on a variety of projects, ranging from collecting and analyzing data to writing research papers with the goal of getting published. We do this by using cutting edge text analysis to explore a broad range of psychological and communicative contexts, including but not limited to:

Collective behavior
Deception
Health
Interpersonal Relationships
Mental Health
Narrative
Technology’s Influence on Romantic Relationships

I hope you take the time to get to know a little bit about us and our current projects!
